IP themed e-advertising for Sky Ticket, the German-speaking market of VOD service of Sky Germany

I was brought in on a long-term basis to devise an e-marketing visual mechanic for use across desktop and mobile.

Whilst a lot of fun, the challenge has been to merge the visual identities of the singular IP with the Sky Ticket branding to create distinctive work that balances the equity of both brands.

Sometimes work completely aligns with personal interest, and when that happens it‘s damn good coffee.

One of the highlights of the Sky Ticket campaign work was the chance to work with the official assets from Showtime to create a suite of animated banners for distribution across mass audience catchment sites such as YouTube, and Bild, to bring in customers and point them to a bespoke landing page.

As an extreme enthusiast for the show I wanted my solution to give fans of the show something to identify with but without being too inside for a mainstream audience. My result used parallax overlays of the famous portrait of Laura Palmer with two other icons of the show, the zig-zag pattern of the mysterious Black Lodge, and a flying owl.

In the event, my approach was proven to be in line with the show’s director and producers as the work heavily reflected the new title sequence seen on-screen in the new show.
