Interactive vehicle livery
The world’s leading insurance insurer, Munich RE, were flying their CEOs to Monte Carlo for a conference and needed a memorable way of getting them from the airport to their respective venues
An identity for the conference had already been created that used photography of LED lighting. I extended this by devising a livery concept for a special edition fleet of Tesla’s that used Lumilor® electroluminescent paint to render the imagery. By picking out each colour in the print on a different circuit the impression of flashing LEDs could be replicated.
Colour alterations would be achieved by a simple plug-in for the Linux OS of the dashboard display. A simple #UX would allow the driver to easily change the colour scheme by punching a large button to change the electrical circuit change using Bluetooth signals. Setting it to auto would create the flashing light effect.
